This link really inspired me. I can see this working on postcards, too.

My swap ritual

For an entire month, I put all my swaps in a basket. It's a great way to see how much I've been blessed. 

At the end of the month I put them into boxes. One for notecards, postcards, stickers, and extras. 

Other things I do to organize them is to add stickies on postcards, notecards, etc to prevent me from sending the object back to the sender!

Stocking Stuffer Countdown

I love the "Fill My Stocking" swaps! Now that the wrapped goodies are piling up, it's becoming harder to wait for Christmas to open them. Here's what I have so far.

This is the most wrapped gifts I've had since a little girl! With November and December swaps, that will be another two gifts! Regarding the temptation to open--well, wish me luck. I'm going to need it with two more months to go.

Really looking forward to Christmas!

Blind swap revealed

Today I received the "Blind Swap--July" package from my partner in Ireland. 

The idea was to send at least five wrapped items from your country.

After I opened all the goodies, here's what was revealed...

I don't have any of these in my goodie stash.

(I can't wait to get into that Strawberry & Cream chocolate bar!)

This was a fun swap that I'll be sure to join in the future.

My favorite postcard of the week

I received it from a PostCrossing member. You can see it on my wall!

I could stare at this photo for hours (it doesn't do the real card justice).

It activates my senses. "Come see, hear, smell, taste, and touch this scene!"

Things to write on a postcard or to your penpal

Here's how I format my postcards now:

On the left hand side I put the date, from, and the swap name (above is a sample of a PostCrossing postcard). On the right I put the time I wrote it, the temperature in F & C, and the weather. Please post what information do you put on your postcards.


I hope this helps eliminate any postcard/penpal writer's block!
